47Million Reasons Healthcare Movement Inc. (47MR) is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit health organization founded in 2009 by George Soria. The name “47 Million Reasons” was inspired by the roughly 47 million Americans who lacked health insurance around that time, which motivated the group’s creation to help the uninsured. Since its inception, the organization has evolved beyond insurance issues to offer “health solutions for humanity in need,” addressing broader wellness challenges.
